The council has received information from the consulting company who are planning the installation of an electrical connection from the Three Maids Hill Solar Park to the substation off Stockbridge Road. The route of the connection will be via Stud Lane and Main Road, Littleton.

In order to carry out the works they have applied for two road closures for through traffic, one on Stud Lane between 27th June and 9th September 2022, and another on Main Road between 11th July and 9th September 2022. The dates overlap but they need to traverse both roads – Main Road and Stud Lane twice. we have been told that there will only ever be one road closed at any one time.

The road closures are to stop through traffic. It is their intention that residents will have access at all times. Within each road closure they will use barriers and ‘Give and Take’ signs to control residential traffic.

They will contact residents directly with more information, and will also be keeping affected residents up to date as work progresses.

National Highways are making improvements to the safety barriers between junctions 9 and 14 of the M3. The work will start between junction 12 and 14 from 6^th June. For more information, please see below:

Littleton and Harestock Parish Council invites you to the Annual Parish Meeting

9th May 2022 – 7pm
at the Littleton Millennium Memorial Hall

All registered electors in the Parish of Littleton and Harestock are invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting.

Come and meet your Parish Councillors and hear more about the work of the Parish Council over the last year. Hear from your County and District Councillors. Take the opportunity to ask any questions.

If you wish to add any item to the agenda, or submit any questions in advance please contact the Parish Clerk, clerk@lhpc.org.uk. Please see current agenda below.

The council would be grateful if attendees would consider taking a Covid test prior to joining us at the Annual Parish Meeting.

Littleton and Harestock Parish Council has a vacancy for a councillor in the Harestock ward caused by a recent councillor resignatation. If you are interested in becoming more involved with the local community and having an input in local decisions, we would be delighted if you would like to apply.

We welcome all applications; however, we would be particularly pleased to receive applications from parishioners in Harestock to ensure that matters of concern for Harestock residents can be fully represented on the council.
