Littleton Village Design Statement Refresh
Littleton and Harestock Parish Council are currently preparing to refresh the 2009 Littleton Village Design Statement which will be put forward for adoption as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) in the Winchester and District Local Plan 2038.
The Parish Council welcomes any comments and contributions prior to a public workshop to be held later in the year. Please use the questionnaire to provide your comments and email the Parish Clerk at littleton.harestockpc@btconnect.com, we would also welcome comments on any other related matters regarding planning or the Village Design Statement. ENVIRONMENT AGENCY FLOOD ALERT
The environment agency has issued flood alerts for groundwater flooding in Littleton, Headbourne, Kings and Martyr Worthy and Easton.
For information on flooding in Littleton please review the Parish Council Community Resilience page which contains links to environment agency groundwater graphs (search for the one named Harestock). The community resilience page also links to a presentation on flood risks in Littleton and Harestock which has other links to useful advice.

Change of Chairman at Littleton and Harestock Parish Council
After three and a half years Councillor Patrick Cunningham has stepped down as Chairman of the Littleton & Harestock Parish Council. During this time Councillor Cunningham has also had to maintain the concurrent roles of an elected Winchester City Councillor and, more recently, as the Deputy Mayor of Winchester. If tradition is upheld Councillor Cunningham will take on the significant role of Mayor of Winchester for a year from May 2020. Meanwhile, he has kindly agreed to remain as a Littleton & Harestock Parish Councillor during his tenure as Mayor and will continue in his busy role as a Winchester City Councillor.
The new chair of Littleton and Harestock Parish Council is Councillor Stephen Burgess who was appointed on 13th January 2020.

Winchester City Council is inviting residents, businesses and other local organisations to take part in its budget consultation.

No 16 Bus Service – No Change to Service in January 2020
Hampshire County Council have confirmed to the Parish Council that although Wheelers will no longer provide the No 16 Bus Service, Stagecoach will be providing an interim solution from the beginning of January with the same timetable such that there is no break in provision of the N16 bus service.
Hampshire County Council is re-tendering for a longer term solution for the N16 service and this will be publicised as soon as possible.
