‘Bikeabout’ Hire and Loan Bicycle Scheme

Leave the car behind and head for Winchester to borrow a bicycle from the Bikeabout Scheme via Winchester Tourist Information Centre or Winchester Shopmobility.

Bikes can be hired on a daily basis for just £10 (or £7 for half a day) from the tourist information centre. All you need to have is proof of identity (passport/driving license or similar) and a £50 refundable cash deposit. Bike Hire is only open to people over the age of 18.

For an annual registration fee of £50 you can borrow a bike as often as you like from Winchester shopmobility.  As with the hire scheme all you need to sign up is proof of identity and address.
